Caroline Kuyper holds a Master’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Lausanne’s business school (HEC). She began her career at Philip Morris International in 1988, where she held various management positions and helped drive business development in Eastern Europe. In 2003, she joined Nestlé to work in corporate controlling, first in the Nutrition/Healthcare and then in the Waters business units; in 2008, she became Nestlé Group’s head of finance and administration for R&D, Innovation and Technology. In 2012, Ms. Kuyper was hired as CFO of the International Olympic Committee, and in 2015 she joined the Federal Statistical Office as deputy director. She joined EPFL on 1 February 2017.
